Over 25,000 km of roads are damaged or destroyed in Ukraine due to Russian invasion

More than 25,000 kilometres of roads have been damaged or destroyed in Ukraine as a result of hostilities, 9,000 kilometres of which are roads of national importance

This was stated by First Deputy Head of Ukravtodor road agency Andriy Ivko at a briefing on December 29.

According to him, 15 regions near the combat zone suffered the most.

"Today we can state that more than 25,000 kilometres of roads are damaged or destroyed. Also, 9,000 kilometres of roads are roads of national importance. And 340 artificial structures have been destroyed, 150 of them on the roads of national importance," Ivko said.
