"Our victory is enough for us": Zelenskyy on further US support
Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on concerns about a potential decline in support from the United States and giving some of the occupied territories to Russia as a way to bring an end to the war
He said this in an interview with ABC News.
He noted that it is important for Ukraine to maintain the support of both parties of the United States.
"It is important for us to preserve the bipartisan support of Ukraine ... We understand that there are some dangerous signals coming from particular politicians of the U.S. regarding the reduction of assistance for Ukraine," he says.
Zelenskyy explained that Ukraine appreciates help, but will not ask for the impossible.
"I appreciate those who say that you've done enough. Trust me, no matter what, I appreciate help. When it comes to the word 'enough,' well, we Ukrainians are not people known for excessive appetites. Our victory is enough for us," the president said.
Zelenskyy also emphasized once again that Ukraine will not give up the territories in order to end the war faster, thereby responding to the corresponding call of former US President Donald Trump.
