Putin's long war in Ukraine clearly showed which countries supported and still support Ukraine, and which countries are looking for any opportunity to worsen the already very difficult situation in the Ukrainian state, thus helping the Russian Federation. In this sense, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán turned out to be an ideal political partner for the Russian dictator Putin, and is ready to substitute Ukraine at any moment Moscow needs. Orbán, who considers the war in Ukraine "someone else's war", acts as if he is directly involved in the implementation of the Kremlin's plans.

Thus, the most influential Hungarian Magyar Nemzet newspaper, which is the informal mouthpiece of the Orbán regime, quotes the main theses from the speech of the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán on the Kossuth Radio “Good morning” program. He emphasized: “Not only our physical health is at risk, but also the security of our economy, and the vulnerability and danger were vividly demonstrated by the missile that hit Poland.  According to the prime minister, if we continue what we have been doing until now, if Europe sees itself as a party to this war, it will become more and more involved in this conflict, and then the danger that threatens us will become stronger.”

Orbán believes that “The policy of sanctions is a step towards war.” Although “sanctions are an economic measure, if someone intervenes in the conflict because of it, he also takes a position, takes a step in the direction of one of the warring parties, that is, in the direction of war.”

What it means is that there is no need to help Ukraine. Let Russia and Ukraine sort themselves out among themselves, and the Europeans should not interfere, because it only worsens the situation. I wonder if he wrote these points himself, or were they sent to him from the Kremlin in a ready form? After all, Europe's policy of non-interference in how one of the European countries is being shot and killed by the terrorist state Russia is a direct call to turn a blind eye to the genocide of the Ukrainian people, which Moscow is implementing, starting from February 24, 2022.

“Orbán believes: let Russia and Ukraine sort themselves out among themselves, and the Europeans should not interfere, because it only worsens the situation. I wonder if he wrote these points himself, or were they sent to him from the Kremlin in a ready-made form?”

The Hungarian Prime Minister noted: if Europe perceives itself as a party to the war, the threat to us will grow. “It is clear that we are slipping step by step into this war; we are not being shot at yet, but we are very close to becoming a real belligerent,” Orbán said, calling what Europe is doing very dangerous. He emphasized: “Hungary speaks the language of peace, but no one, except us, is moving in this direction.”

And here it is worth saying that the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, “is not slipping into war.” He has personally and indirectly been participating in it for a long time on Putin's side. And his attempt to allegedly “speak the language of peace” is nothing more than an attempt to push Ukraine to capitulate to the Russian Federation, leaving almost 20 percent of the occupied Ukrainian territories to the invaders.

Pretending that Hungary is a "peacemaker", this political partner of Putin is ready for literally anything for the arrival of cheaper energy carriers from Russia. And he is absolutely not interested in what image Hungary will have in Europe and the world thanks to this, and what will be thought of him personally in the EU.  The main thing is to prolong one's power as much as possible in time and receive financial dividends from it for oneself personally.

“The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, is not "sliding into the war". He personally and indirectly has long been participating in it on Putin's side. And his efforts to allegedly "speak the language of peace" are nothing more than an attempt to push Ukraine to capitulate to the Russian Federation”

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, expressed the same opinion.  As the Hungarian publication Magyar Hirlap emphasizes, Szijjártó is convinced: “The recognition of the complete failure of sanctions is that today in Brussels they deny that they counted on the fact that sanctions will help to end the war faster. The EU wants new sanctions only in order to somehow justify its own wrong decisions that cause harm. Then the leaders who supported the sanctions should come forward and say that it is because of them that the European economy is close to recession and they should resign. That would be the normal reaction of those who harmed Europe with sanctions.”

That is, the top Hungarian diplomat directly accuses the EU of imposing sanctions in support of Ukraine, but if they had not been imposed and Ukraine had surrendered to Russia, then there would have been no war and everyone in Europe would have lived peacefully. With the exception, of course, of the Ukrainian state, which would disappear from the world map.

Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán serves Putin as a tool to ram European institutions. He has well studied the unwieldy and inflexible European bureaucratic machine, and he takes full advantage of this to implement his pro-Moscow policy in the European Union.  This Putin puppet is interested in Ukraine, as a sovereign state, ceasing to exist. He hopes to receive Ukrainian Transcarpathia as a prize, although Hungarians are an ethnic minority there.

“Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán serves Putin as a tool for ramming European institutions. He has well studied the inflexible and inflexible European bureaucratic machine, and he takes full advantage of this to implement his pro-Moscow policy in the European Union.”

"Peace" on the Kremlin's terms would be "peace in the grave" for Ukraine. And if today the Russian tyrant Putin is a threat to modern civilization, then Orbán is a danger to the European Union, splitting its unity and monolithicity with his actions. With his irreconcilable anti-Western position, he effectively isolated Hungary from the rest of the European Union, but continues to rule the EU member state with unacceptable authoritarian methods. Throw Hungary out of the EU, and its economy will not survive without constant economic subsidies, exclude it from NATO, and you will see how receptive the Orbán electorate will be to the final switch to the side of Russia.

A member of NATO and the EU, Hungary is constantly looking for very dubious friends around the world. Thus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó wrote on his Facebook page about the recent visit to Budapest of the Minister of Economy of Iran Ehsan Khandouzi: “There are many problems in the world, in the last few days we have seen how easily conflicts can get out of control. The threat to global security can be reduced by closing as many conflicts as possible. If Iran could be reintegrated into the system of international cooperation, we would be able to make significant progress in stabilizing the entire situation in the Middle East.”

And here Péter Szijjártó is clearly deceiving when he starts talking about the fact that the reintegration of Iran "into the system of international cooperation" can contribute to stabilizing the situation in the Middle East.  How can Iran, which believes that Israel has no right to exist, stabilize the Middle East? Iran, which supplies 'kamikaze' drones to Russia and helps Moscow increase its aggression against Ukraine, suddenly becomes a "peacemaker" in Szijjártó's diplomatic imagination.

“And here Péter Szijjártó is clearly deceiving when he starts talking about the fact that the reintegration of Iran "into the system of international cooperation" can contribute to stabilizing the situation in the Middle East.  How can Iran, which believes that Israel has no right to exist, stabilize the Middle East?”

Thus, it is quite possible to say that Hungary is not only pursuing an anti-Ukrainian, anti-European, but now also an anti-Israeli policy. After all, consciously acting as Tehran's political advocate, Budapest publicly agrees with the fact that Iran's intentions towards Israel, like Russia's towards Ukraine, are legitimate. By "flirting" with Iran, Budapest is also agreeing that it has the right to develop nuclear weapons, which the mullahs' regime needs to destroy the state of Israel.

In addition, the Hungarian prime minister is participating in the construction of the "anti-Ukrainian axis of evil", where Russia will dominate, Iran will participate, and Hungary will act as a comical political vassal of the Kremlin. Orbán, blocking all possible initiatives of the European Union regarding Ukraine, strives with all his might to ensure that Ukrainians cannot survive the winter of 2022/2023.  It is obvious that this insidious position of Putin's vassals should not remain unnoticed by the democratic Western world.

The paradox of modern Hungary is that, formally being in NATO and the EU, it is oriented towards Moscow and Beijing. Orbán has turned his country into the Kremlin's "fifth column" in Europe, but Brussels prefers to turn a blind eye to it for now. Despite the fact that Orban's government is completely dependent on financial subsidies from the EU and cheaper energy sources from Russia.

And although the population of the country under Orbán's rule is only a small percentage of the EU population, his "initiatives" create a much larger percentage of headaches for the European Commission. And this tactic often works without fail, since Orbánists 100 percent take into account all the weak points of the organizational hierarchy of the European Union in their anti-European actions.

Speaking at a conference in Budapest, Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán put forward another anti-Ukrainian proposal disguised as a new Hungarian "initiative". He categorically opposed the European Commission's plan to provide Ukraine with aid worth EUR 18 billion for 2023, instead offering its alternative in the form of bilateral agreements.

Viktor Orbán offered the EU countries to see how much money they want to allocate for the functioning of Ukraine, and to distribute it among themselves "proportionately and fairly".  It is great knowing in advance that more than one month may pass until this "initiative" of his will be discussed and agreed upon in various relevant bodies, and Ukraine needs help now and now. And Hungary is successfully blocking it.

"Peace" on the Kremlin's terms is the highest value for Orbán. The Hungarian prime minister unabashedly declares himself Putin's only ally in the European Union, lamenting that Hungary is the only country that wants Russia to win politically while losing to Ukraine on the battlefield.

At the same time, the prime minister emphasized: “If your neighbor is at war, you are not safe either.” Emphasizing that for Hungary, peace in our country is a strategic issue. And “war requires human lives and also has economic consequences.” “It is a thankless role to be the only one in Europe who speaks about the importance of a ceasefire and peace talks, but it is in the strategic interests of Hungary.” Viktor Orbán said: “the later peace is, the higher the price of peace will be.” And “he is not going to give up ties with Russia.”

That is, Ukraine must accept all Moscow's demands as soon as possible, and "peace" on the terms of the Kremlin is the highest value for Orbán. The Hungarian prime minister unabashedly declares himself Putin's only ally in the European Union, lamenting that Hungary is the only country that wants Russia to win politically while losing to Ukraine on the battlefield.

It seems that Budapest considers its mission of indirect participation in Russia's war in Ukraine to be a very important component of its international policy. After all, they perfectly understand how important aid from the European Union is during the war, and they do everything possible to block it.

Viktor Orbán's rule is a mole on the body of Europe, which will easily turn into an incurable abscess if the "Hungarian problem" continues to be dismissed in the EU. His uncompromising pro-Russian position regarding the war and Putin greatly damages the trust in Hungary as a member state of NATO and the EU. Especially remembering the atrocities and crimes that Putin's regime committed in Ukraine and continues to commit.

In particular, taking into account the fact that Hungary, which openly declares its commitment to Russia, receives secret military defense information as a NATO member.  Although the question of how an ally of Moscow can be in the North Atlantic Alliance should have arisen a long time ago?

Does it make sense to keep in the common European team someone who only wants to "drain" the common budget of the EU, but hates the club of Western countries for which he allegedly plays, and cheers for its rivals?
