Sometimes Islamist attack is just Islamist attack, not FSB special operation
Why ISIS-K has become more active
I hope you've calmed down a bit and are ready to read something more complicated than "this is FSB."
Radical Islam has been in a state of extreme agitation for the past six months. There are several factors here, but the central one, in my opinion, is the redistribution of financial flows after 07.10.23, when Hamas declared itself the leading, most effective and daring "defender of the faith" (read: terrorist organization).
ISIS is particularly active, as it is only trying to revive after the recent rout in Syria-Iraq.
Hence the recent large-scale demonstrative terrorist attacks in various countries, including Iran and Afghanistan.
Unlike their 'colleagues' from Hamas, Hezbollah, Ansar Allah and other Iran-oriented organizations of the "resistance axis," supporters of the caliphate are not allies of Russia. On the contrary, they view Russia as an enemy of Islam, because it severely rules millions of Muslims (which, by the way, is true - K.V.) and supports the most bitter enemies of ISIS, such as Bashar al-Assad, to the maximum extent possible.
It was about an ISIS terrorist attack that the Americans recently warned, and it was during the month of Ramadan. However, the terrorists had to postpone the attack for several days due to increased security measures during Putin's election.
Is there a chance that Russia's special services are involved? There is always a chance, but this time it is not obvious (although they can use them for political purposes).
It may be hard for you to believe, but sometimes an Islamist attack is just an Islamist attack, not an FSB special operation.
