It was said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.
"It was a bad signal for all the countries of the world, which realized that in fact only nuclear weapons can save them from the attack of such an aggressor. That is why we want to start this discussion," the diplomat noted.
At the moment, he does not have ready-made proposals as it might look like. However, Makeiev reminded that one of the ideas was presented by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the beginning of 2022 - the Security Treaty.
"It is important for the whole world to make sure that these guarantees are backed by particular tools that would help ensure that Russia does not violate them," the ambassador added.
