One-year-old boy injured as Russian troops shell Chornobaivka
On March 1, Russian troops shelled Chornobaivka, Kherson region, with artillery, injuring a one-year-old boy. He was taken to hospital by an ambulance

“A few hours ago, Russian artillery attacked Chornobaivka. The enemy targeted the house of local residents. During the shelling, a one-year-old boy was inside the house. A shell hit the windows in the children's room and injured the baby with glass fragments,” the statement said.
In a few minutes, an ambulance brought the boy to the Kherson children’s hospital, where doctors provided him with the necessary assistance.
The tragedy was avoided by a miracle. The shell that hit the house did not detonate.
The officials clarified that the child is in moderate condition, glass fragments injured his face, ear and head.
Now the boy's life is not in danger. He and his mother will be treated for a few more days, after which they will be discharged.
Meanwhile, in the village of Zmiivka, Kherson region, 2 men were injured in a Russian attack. In particular, a 54-year-old resident of the region sustained shrapnel wounds to his foot. The second victim is a volunteer from Kryvyi Rih, who was injured more seriously. According to the administration, a 34-year-old man came under heavy Russian fire and sustained shrapnel wounds to his arm with incomplete amputation of the forearm, complex fractures of the arm and leg.
The victims were hospitalized in Beryslav hospital.
