On February 23-24 Russia plans missile strikes, nothing unusual – Ukraine's intelligence chief
Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that Russia is planning a moderate missile attack on Ukraine before the anniversary of the full-scale invasion
He said this in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.
Answering a question whether Russia could make some kind of provocation before February 24, Budanov said, "Listen: nothing extraordinary is going to happen. The usual... A moderate missile strike is planned."
The Russians are planning missile strikes on February 23 and 24.
"Believe me, we’ve seen it more than 20 times already," the chief of intelligence noted.
Budanov considers combined shelling of Ukraine – using drones, various types of missiles, as well as so-called balloons – to be "a rather old tactic" of Russia.
Answering a question about what is happening in the Kremlin on the eve of February 24 and whether Putin is shouting at everyone demanding a quick result, he said: "You know, he shouted earlier. Now he just says, "I need at least something; reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, at least".
