President of the National Olympic Committee Vadym Gutzeit said this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

"In total, we have 124 licenses today. These are 140 sportsmen and women who will participate in the Olympic Games. We have already completed our selection for the Olympic Games, and Ukraine finally has 124 licenses. We have already submitted the application yesterday," he said.

He added that Ukraine will be represented at the 2024 Olympics in almost all sports, except for the games. However, for the first time since Ukraine's independence, the country's national football team will take part in the Olympics.

According to Suspilne, Ukraine's squad for the 2024 Olympics has also been announced by sport:

About the 2024 Olympic Games

From July 26 to August 11, 2024, the French capital Paris will host the Summer Olympics. There will be a total of 48 competitions in 32 sports disciplines. To the 28 main sports, 4 more have been added: breakdancing, skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing.

On January 27, 2023, IOC chief Thomas Bach said that he favored the participation of Russians and Belarusians in the 2024 Olympics, despite Ukraine's threats to boycott the Games. According to the president of the International Olympic Committee, the statement about boycotting the 2024 Olympics from the president of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Vadym Gutzeit, "does not correspond to the mission of the IOC.”

In June, the PACE adopted a resolution calling on the IOC to ban athletes from Belarus and Russia from participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics, even under a neutral flag.

In August, then-Sports Minister Vadym Gutzeit said that Ukraine would participate in the 2024 Olympics, even if Russians and Belarusians participated in the Games in a neutral status.

On December 14, IOC President Thomas Bach said that Russians and Belarusians were allowed to participate in the 2024 Olympics because athletes “should not be punished for the actions of their governments.”
