Russian forces shell village on right bank of Kherson region, killing local man
At about 11:20 a.m. on December 3, Russian troops temporarily occupying the left bank in Kherson region fired at the right bank village of Sadove. An elderly man died as a result of the shelling
This was reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration.
"In the afternoon, the invaders attacked the village. One of the hits was on a private garage, where a 78-year-old man was at the time," the statement reads.
It is noted that the elderly man died on the spot from the blast injury.
According to the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko, the Russian occupiers attacked this settlement from the temporarily occupied left bank.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office informed that the invaders probably fired mortars.
The prosecutor's office launched a pre-trial investigation in a criminal proceeding on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
