Occupying Russian forces launch offensive in Mykolaiv direction, try to hold positions in Kharkiv region

This is stated in the report of the General Staff.
Russian army shelled infrastructure, residential areas and military positions in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya and Mykolaiv regions.
- In the Kharkiv direction, Russians direct their main efforts to hold the occupied positions.
- In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on resuming offensive operations. Russian ccupiers waged offensive battles in the directions Brazhkivka – Novodmytrivka, Sulygivka – Novodmytrivka, Brazhkivka – Virnopillya and Dovzhenke – Kurulka. As a result, Ukrainian soldiers inflicted losses and pushed them back.
- In the Donetsk direction, the enemy continues offensive actions and concentrates the main efforts in the Bakhmut direction. Russian ccupiers tried to launch an offensive in the direction of Spirne - Ivano-Daryivka and Mykolaivka - Vimka, without results.
- In the Avdiivka direction, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive battles in the Horlivka - Mayorsk, Spartak - Opytne, Donetsk - Pisky, Staromykhailivka - Pervomaiske directions.
- In the South Bug direction, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical position in the Mykolaiv direction. Conducts an offensive battle in the direction of Vasylko - Blagodatne.
- In Sivershchyna, the enemy continues to hold separate units of the Western Military District in the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions in order to deter the actions of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The threat of enemy missile and airstrikes from the territory and airspace of the Republic of Belarus continues.
The enemy naval group keeps two Kalibr sea-based cruise missile carriers ready for use.
