Occupiers disguise explosive devices under toys and leave them on children’s playgrounds, - Berezenko

“A lot of ordinary household items, private houses, fields and territories have been mined. Therefore, representatives of the SES called  Ukrainians to pay attention to any suspicious items, urgently call SES, sappers, all relevant services. And to those settlements, which are still not allowed to pass, are asked not to return due to the fact that there are active demining work gong on. Explosions can be heard from time to time - these are controlled detonations of unexploded ordnance and mines, which were ordered by representatives of Russian Federation in violation of the Geneva Convention, ”Berezenko added.

 

He also said that Russian soldiers are deploying different explosive devices, which are aimed in particular for children.

 

“They disguise them as toys and leave them on children’s playgrounds. Most of the mines are appliances, washing machines, cars, so you have to be incredibly careful. Especially if you see that your car is not in the place where you left it, or it’s open, and you remember that you closed it, or you see signs of burglary. Also light switches pass, on a door put extensions. In fact, any household item can be mined. Also, representatives of aggressor state's army mine military equipment in order to destroy Ukrainian defenders, in particular, shops go to machine guns, weapons are often passed. You should also pay on this specially if you are Ukrainian troop of territory defense representative, ”Berezenko said.
