Russian troops launch third wave of attacks in Avdiivka direction

This was reported by the commander of the Tavria military unit Oleksandr Tarnavskyi.

"In general, enemy losses in manpower and armored vehicles in the Tavria sector are increasing - 8 tanks were destroyed, and total losses in manpower amounted to more than 700 people," the commander wrote.

According to him, Ukrainian troops are steadfastly holding the defense in the Avdiivka direction. 

Defense forces eliminated 51 units of military equipment. In particular, 8 tanks, 13 armored personnel carriers, 8 artillery systems, 2 air defense systems, 15 UAVs, 5 vehicles. Also, 2 ammunition depots and 4 important enemy targets were destroyed. 

At the same time, an offensive operation continues in the Melitopol sector.

• On November 22, the head of the Avdiivka city military administration Vitaliy Barabash reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were holding the defense line in the area of Avdiivka, with no breakthroughs.
