Number of victims as result of Russian shelling of Kurakhove, Donetsk region rises to 16

The Office of the Prosecutor General informed that the number of people injured in the Russian strike has increased to 16.

The office added that, according to preliminary information, the Russian army struck residential buildings with two Iskander missiles. 

"One of the munitions hit a two-storey residential building, injuring 16 civilians. All the victims received emergency medical care," the statement said.

It is noted that windows, facades, and roofs in other apartment buildings, cars, and garages were damaged.

According to Roman Padun, the head of Kurakhove's military administration, as of 01:00 on Friday, 22 September, 13 people were known to have been injured as a result of Russian shelling, Suspilne.Donbas".

There was no information about the dead. It is known that Russian troops hit residential buildings. A man was rescued from the rubble and is being treated. The shelling caused a fire.
