Russian strikes against Ukraine

Russian troops launched 2 missile strikes and 25 air strikes, fired 25 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Situation in the main frontline areas

There were 54 combat engagements over the last day. 

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of Ukrainian troops, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region. About 20 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 Russian attacks. About 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, about 10 settlements suffered from Russian artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Bakhmut direction, about 10 towns and villages came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka sector, Russian artillery and mortar fire hit more than 10 settlements.

In the Marinka direction, 6 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, Russian troops did not conduct assault operations. About 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, about 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire

In the Kherson direction, 5 settlements came under Russian artillery fire.

Ukrainian Defense Forces strike at hostile positions

Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson region. They continue to inflict fire on the enemy.

During the day, Ukrainian aviation struck at the area of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 2 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Air defense forces also destroyed 7 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.

Missile troops struck 4 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an artillery unit and an ammunition depot of the Russian enemy.
