Radio Liberty reports that according to Rafael Grossi, the presence of IAEA representatives at nuclear facilities in Ukraine remains important to prevent a nuclear incident.
It is noted that the IAEA experts in Rivne and Khmelnytskyi had to take shelter up to three times during Grossi's visit due to a large number of air raid warnings.
“My teams report that this has been the most intense day for air alerts since the end of last year,” he said.
- On June 3, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi arrived in Ukraine. He met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss, among other things, safety at nuclear facilities.
