This was stated by international political scientist Maksym Nesvitailov on Espreso TV.
"We are at the stage of a hybrid World War III. For 8 years before the full-scale invasion, we witnessed a hybrid local war. It had two options: either a peaceful settlement through negotiations or a transition to the hot phase of the conflict, which is what happened," he said.
According to the expert, we are now experiencing the same thing, only on a larger scale.
"The current situation in the world can be characterized as a hybrid World War III, which has every chance of ending in certain agreements, but these chances are decreasing with each passing month. The chances of entering a hot phase are increasing. There are many unknown factors - we do not know all of China's plans and strategies. The situation is not easy and the hybrid stage of World War III is in full swing," Nesvitailov summarized.
