"Not any kind of peace - peace based on the values of the UN Charter": Guterres on ending war with Russia

He said this at a press conference in Cambodia.

According to him, the Russian invasion was a violation of the UN Charter and a violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

At the same time, Guterres emphasized that it is very important to create conditions for the gradual restoration of dialogue, which will lead to future peace. The UN Secretary General added that he supports “not any kind of peace -  peace based on the values of the UN Charter, and peace based on international law.”
