This was reported on the brigade's Facebook page, Espreso.West reports.

“Hunting units of the Airborne Assault Troops are moving forward and destroying the enemy. Soldiers with the 71st Detached Hunting Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured one of the invading Russian forces' positions. Not all Russian soldiers survived the encounter with our defenders. Their accomplices disgracefully ran away and did not even try to pick up their bodies, which are scattered in the trenches,” the message reads.

For reference. The 71st Detached Hunting Brigade is a unit born during the full-scale war. It was created immediately after the beginning of the invading Russian forces' large-scale intervention on our land. Since then, combat units of the brigade have been hunting the Russian enemy in the hottest areas of the front.

  • On October 3, the soldiers with the Bukovyna Territorial Defense captured military equipment of the invading Russian forces and took a Russian soldier prisoner. The fighters with the Zakarpattian Legion liberated Myrolyubivka in the Kherson region.

  • In addition, Lviv paratroopers captured the Russian Typhoon armored car.

  • On October 9, the soldiers with the 45th Artillery Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces showed how they destroyed the Russian Gvozdika system and the Russian military positions in the Kherson region, and on October 13, they destroyed the Russian Msta-S self-propelled gun with one blow.

  • Also, the day before, fighters with the Ternopil brigade fired on the enemy's control post, destroying two tanks, an armored personnel carrier and an infantry fighting vehicle.
