No toxins released in Pivdenmash shelling: Ukrainian territorial defense refutes fake news
Ukraine's territorial defense has refuted fake news about a supposed release of the toxic substance heptyl as a result of the Russian strike on Pivdenmash in Dnipro
This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security on Telegram.
"Reports about the release of heptyl (a component of rocket fuel that is very dangerous for humans - Ed.) began to spread after the enemy attack on Pivdenmash in Dnipro. But all of them are false", the department emphasized.
The Russians, by firing six missiles at the plant, could cause a leak of heptyl and commit a terrorist attack, the scale of which can be compared to a nuclear disaster. However, the fighters of the territorial defense noted that since February 24, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, heptyl and its derivatives were urgently disposed of in Pivdenmash.
"Therefore, there was no leak. Rumors are spread by enemies in order to spread panic", the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security concluded.
