"No one can remain indifferent": Pope Francis on Russia's missile strike on Dnipro

On Wednesday, January 18, Pope Francis has said during a prayer that it is impossible to remain indifferent to the missile strike on the city of Dnipro, because it is "powerful appeal to our consciences"

This is reported by Vatican News.

"Last Saturday, another missile attack caused many civilian casualties, including children. I share the unbearable pain of the families. The images and the testimonies of this tragic episode are a powerful appeal to our consciences. No one can remain indifferent!" Francis said.

The Pope also emphasized the need to continue to pray for Ukraine, which, according to him, greatly needs "our closeness, consolation, and above all peace."
