Nine more ships with 162,000 tons of agricultural products leave Odesa port

Since November 17, 9 ships with 162,000 tons of agricultural products left the sea ports of Great Odesa for countries in Africa, Asia and Europe within the framework of the "grain deal"

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced it on Facebook.

Following the extension of the "grain initiative", 9 ships with 162,000 tons of agricultural products left the ports of Great Odesa for the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe over 2 days, from November 17 to 19.

In particular, the ministry informs that BOZBURUN - M with 40,000 tons of wheat for Ethiopia has left Odesa on November 19.

"This is already the 8th vessel chartered by the UN World Food Program as part of aid to African and Asian countries," the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure writes.

According to the data provided, 26 more ships are currently being processed in the ports of Great Odesa, expected to load a million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products.

"Since August 1, 475 ships have left the ports of Great Odesa, delivering 11.2 million tons of Ukrainian food to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa," the ministry reminds.
