Night shelling of Druzhkivka: one person killed as Russian forces launch Iskanders
One person was killed and another was wounded after an overnight Russian strike on Druzhkivka in Donetsk region
This was reported by Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
The official stated that one person was killed and another one was wounded after the strike on Druzhkivka in Donetsk region.
Tymoshenko also said that the city was hit by two Iskander missiles. Residential and industrial sectors, as well as the ice arena were damaged.
- Shelling of Druzhkivka, which is a satellite of Kramatorsk, took place late yesterday, January 2, in the evening. After the strike, the building of the Altair ice arena located in the city, which is the base of Hockey Club Donbas, caught fire. The strike on the arena was broadcast by the French TV channel TMC. The explosion occurred near the correspondent when he was talking to the presenter in the studio.
