Night attack on Ukraine: Russia's drones and aircraft terrorize south and east

On the night of October 10, groups of enemy drones and aircraft caused trouble in the south and east of Ukraine. Air defense successfully neutralized 27 drones out of 36

The Air Force issued statements about the attack and the number of downed drones.

Around 10:15 PM, enemy drones were spotted coming from the Black Sea toward Odesa and Mykolaiv region. A little later, it was confirmed that drones were heading toward Kobleve and Mykolaiv, and air defense was engaged.

After 11:00 PM, more groups of enemy drones were seen moving in the same direction. At 11:26 PM, these enemy drones returned to the Kryvyi Rih and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Additional drones were directed toward Odesa, Yuzhne, Koblevo, and Zatoka. Simultaneously, the Armed Forces reported "enemy tactical aviation activity in the eastern and southeastern directions."

Around 12:30 AM, reports of explosions in Odesa were made by correspondents from Suspilne. Earlier, Oleh Kiper, the head of the regional military administration, mentioned the Air Defense Forces' efforts in the region.

At about 1:00 AM, an alarm was lifted across Ukraine.

During the night of October 10, Russian occupation forces attacked southern Ukraine with 36 Shahed attack drones

Air defense successfully neutralized 27 drones within Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions. Specifically, one drone was taken down in the Mykolaiv region, three in the Kherson region, and 23 in the Odesa region, according to the Air Force. 

According to the military, the Russians launched drones from Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As specified in the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine, the enemy resorted to a massive drone attack on the southern regions. The drones attacked in several groups for almost three hours from different directions.

"Unfortunately, the logistical infrastructure of the region was hit. But people were not injured," the message said.
