"Zelenskyy is planning large-scale provocation in combat zone": Russian fakes for May 24
Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian fakes and manipulations that appeared in the world on May 24
This is reported by Espreso.TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on May 24, Russian propaganda launched two fakes.
Fake: Russian FSB chief Bortnikov said: “Ukraine's military intelligence is directly related to the attack in the Crocus.”
"Russia cannot provide any evidence (except for the statements of Russian propaganda) of Ukraine's involvement in the terrorist attack. Moreover, the Russian FSB is still slowing down the investigation in order not to accidentally implicate themselves," the Center emphasizes.
Fake: The so-called 'LPR' military expert Marochko said: "Zelenskyy is planning a high-profile provocation in the combat zone. Similar to the inhumane action in Bucha, film crews with actors have been sent to the front line to tell about the alleged atrocities of the Russian military.”
"It is not the first time that propagandists have made such cynical statements, but the truth is that it is the 'Russian world' that brings death, destruction and ruined lives. Such statements are just futile attempts to absolve themselves of responsibility for their own crimes," explained the Center for Countering Disinformation.
- Russian propagandists are spreading fake information that Zelenskyy has allegedly refused to return hundreds of captured soldiers to Ukraine.
