Over the past day, Ukrainian army repelled Russian attacks in 7 directions and eliminated 1,000 invaders. 66 clashes took place at the frontline

Total Russia’s combat losses from February 24, 2022, to February 1, 2024, are estimated to be:

General Staff report: Ukrainian army repel Russian attacks in 7 directions, mostly near Avdiivka

Near the state Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fought off 6 Russian troops' attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops defeated 9 Russian attacks near Terny, Yampolivka and Torske in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces beat back 6 attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, defense forces are deterring Russian troops, who are trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Ukrainian soldiers countered 12 attacks in the Avdiivka area yesterday.

In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian forces are holding back the Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region and repelled 10 attacks.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Ukrainian troops repulsed an attack south of Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, AFU defeated 8 Russian troops' attacks north of Pryiutne, west of Verbove and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian troops are trying to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions, despite significant losses. Over the past day, the Russian army made three unsuccessful assault attempts.

Russian army launches 8 missile strikes and 94 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the last day, 66 combat engagements took place. In total, the Russian troops launched 8 missiles, 94 air strikes, fired 97 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

At night, the Russian aggressor struck again, using 4 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 2 Russian drones.

2 settlements in Sumy region; 4 settlements in Kharkiv region; 2 settlements, Serebrianske forestry, in Luhansk region; 10 settlements in Donetsk region; 2 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region; 8 settlements in Kherson region were hit by air strikes.

Ukrainian defense forces struck at Russian forces' ammunition depot 

Over the last day, Ukrainian aviation struck 15 areas of Russian forces' personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and 2 anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian air defense forces also destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile.

Ukrainian missile troops destroyed 5 Russian artillery units, 1 ammunition depot and 4 air defense systems.

  • On the evening of January 31, Russians launched attack drones, explosions were heard in Kharkiv, and a civilian infrastructure facility was hit.
