Zelenskyy fears both Trump and his own people

Zelenskyy fears and lacks the courage to pursue an independent policy separate from the U.S. That is, after the Munich Conference, we may soon find out that he agreed to the capitulation that Putin has already extracted from Trump.

If we view the situation from this perspective, the recent sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) become clearer.

"This is a cleansing aimed at preventing protests against Zelenskyy’s capitulationist policies. From this point of view, the agreement to purchase a Russian reactor makes sense—it's the last grab for money before fleeing."

Finally, let's go back to March-April 2022 and recall how the broadcasts of Pravda, Espreso, and Channel 5 were shut down. This happened on April 4—just a day after three channels were the first to release footage of the murdered people in Bucha. And let’s also remember that these mass killings made the Istanbul agreements, and the negotiations themselves, completely unacceptable. Although Zelenskyy continued to talk about negotiating with Putin even after the killings in Bucha became known.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we now face another attempt to shut down independent media outlets not controlled by the President’s Office.
