New Russian army units arrive in temporarily occupied Melitopol, Henichesk
The Russian military is deploying new troops to the temporarily occupied Melitopol and Henichesk and moving equipment toward the Zaporizhzhia region through the Arabat Spit
Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov reported this during the telethon.
“We do not record the occupying Russian forces leaving Melitopol. On the contrary, we record that new units are arriving in the temporarily occupied Melitopol and Henichesk,” Fedorov says.
The mayor of Melitopol added that after the Chonhar bridge was blown up, the enemy began to move its equipment along the Arabat Spit. According to him, local residents have noticed that columns of equipment are heading towards the Zaporizhzhia region.
Mayor Fedorov added that Russia is slightly reducing its presence in Enerhodar, but it is not yet possible to say that invading forces are completely absent there.
