Netherlands is ready to support Ukraine with air defense and training F-16 pilots
The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte said that the country is ready to support Ukraine as longs as needed, including the strengthening of air defense and the training of F-16 pilots
He wrote about it on Twitter.
"Kyiv has once again become the target of barbaric airstrikes, fortunately with minimal consequences thanks to the Patriot air defense system. I just spoke with President Zelenskyy and reiterated that the Netherlands is committed to providing all kinds of support to Ukraine, from strengthening air defense systems to starting F-16 pilot training as soon as possible," the message says.
Rutte emphasized that supporting Ukraine is necessary, and also informed that assistance to our country will be the main topic of the summit of the European Political Community in Chisinau.
"Helping Ukraine to defend itself is not a choice, it must be done. The Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary. Helping Ukraine will also be the main topic on the European Political Community summit agenda in Chisinau next Thursday," Rutte writes.
