NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg receives Ukraine's membership application
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has received Ukraine's official membership application, which will be further considered by all Alliance member states

This was announced by the Deputy Head of the President's Office, Ihor Zhovkva.
"According to the results of the NSDC meeting, the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada sent an appeal to the North Atlantic Organization about Ukraine's application for membership.
Today, the Secretary General officially received the application through a note from Ukraine, and the next stage will be the discussion of this application at the level of the North Atlantic Council, that is, at the level of the ambassadors of NATO member states in Brussels," Zhovkva said.
In the future, the application will be discussed with all NATO member countries.
