NATO does not fully understand situation: AFU responds to Stoltenberg's statement on "fall of Bakhmut"
The spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevatyi, said that NATO does not fully understand the logic of this war, and Jens Stoltenberg's statements about the "possible fall of Bakhmut" indicate this
The spokesman for the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this during a telethon.
"They take a purely pragmatic approach to this with dry calculations, sometimes not realizing that Ukrainians have developed much greater resilience and power of tactical decisions after a year in such a war. So, I think that NATO is studying this and they need to continue to study it. I think that such statements should be treated with respect, but with the understanding that they do not fully understand the entire situation," explained Cherevatyi.
We would like to add that yesterday NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Bakhmut is likely to fall in the coming days.
"Given the continuation of hostilities in Bakhmut, there is a possibility that it will fall in the coming days," the NATO Secretary General said.
"We have to make sure that this does not become a turning point in the war," he later emphasized.
