Naftogaz confirms Russian strikes on gas production infrastructure facilities
Oleksii Chernyshov, CEO of the national joint stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine, confirms that on Thursday, November 17, the Russian forces launched a massive attack on the gas production infrastructure in the east of Ukraine, and several facilities were destroyed

This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz of Ukraine, the largest national oil and gas company of the country.
According to him, the gas production infrastructure of JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya in the east of Ukraine was shelled. Several objects were destroyed, and others were damaged to varying degrees. He noted that Ukraine's State Emergency Service has already extinguished the fire that occurred as a result of the shelling.
“At the moment, they (employees of the State Emergency Service - Ed.) are assessing the consequences and scale of the attack. Information about the victims is also being established,” Oleksii Chernyshov said.
