Mykolaiv attack has been launched from temporarily occupied territories by Iskander-K systems - military expert Zgurets

Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets said that the Russian occupiers attacked Mykolaiv on April 27 not with Kalibr cruise missiles, but with Iskander-K missiles

"The Air Force does not say from where Mykolaiv was attacked on April 27. The spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yuriy Ihnat, said that the occupiers attacked the city with Iskander-K systems. We can conclude that this is a very close distance. The missiles flew at a low altitude, which made it difficult to detect and neutralize them. Therefore, it can be assumed that the missiles were launched from the temporarily occupied territories," noted Zgurets.

The analyst emphasized that there is a great threat of systematic use of the Iskander-K system by the Russian invaders to shell the Ukrainian territory.

"A few weeks ago, I saw propaganda photos of the Russian Iskander-K system with inscriptions such as "To Ukraine". It was clear then that there were risks of an attack with these systems. Now we can see these systems are being used. However, we do not know whether the occupiers will use Iskander-K systems systematically. But this threat should be taken into account," he added.
