Mosquitoes vs Moscowitoes: Reznikov responds to “combat mosquitoes” accusation
Oleksii Reznikov, responded to the statement of the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, about Ukrainian drones that transport infected mosquitoes.
Ukraine’s minister of Defence posted his responce on Twitter.
Reznikov wrote that Ukraine has announced a partial mobilization and plans to recruit up to about 300,000 combat mosquitoes.
“In Ukraine, a partial mobilization has been announced, within which it is planned to call up about 300,000 mosquitoes. The project has the working title Mosquitoes against Moscowitoes,” jokes Reznikov on Twitter.
On October 28, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation at the UN meeting said that they have found drones in Ukraine, that transport mosquitoes infected with lethal pathogens to a given place and release them. According to him, these "mosquitoes" infect people with serious and dangerous diseases. He said that soldiers bitten by such a mosquito would be unable to perform their duties and that "disease can be a more valuable military tool than the latest weapons and equipment."
