Moscow’s provocations in Europe aim to shift focus from Ukraine — Polish military correspondent
Military correspondent, volunteer Piotr Kaszuwara believes that through provocations in European countries, Russia seeks to divert attention from the war in Ukraine
Military correspondent, volunteer, and founder of the Postpravda.Info portal Piotr Kaszuwara expressed this opinion in the project Europeans with Lesia Vakuliuk on Espreso TV.
“It seems to me that the Russians once again want to divert attention from Ukraine, from what is happening now in Donbas. And I have always thought that if they wanted to do something like this, they could create such a hotspot, for example in Vovchansk or somewhere near Sumy, by attacking some small village on the border with Belarus,” he said.
Piotr Kaszuwara believes that such a potential attack would have involved Wagner mercenaries.
“For instance, this could be done by the Wagner Group. And then who are we supposed to fight? Because the Wagner Group is not the official Russian army, nor the Belarusian army. They could attack from Belarusian territory. So who should we strike back at – Belarus, Russia, who should we talk to? That is why I always thought they might try to come up with something to divert attention from Ukraine and from helping Ukraine. But instead, they came up with something else – they came up with drones,” he noted.
