More than 720 victims of Russians were found in Kyiv region, more than 200 people are considered missing - Ministry of Internal Affairs

Since the beginning of the war, more than 3,050 criminal proceedings have been recorded on the territory of the capital region for crimes committed by the military of the Russian Federation

This was announced by the head of the Kyiv region police Andriy Nebytov.



 

"The number of identified and examined bodies of dead civilians in the Kyiv region as a result of Russian aggression is already more than 720 people, more than 200 people are considered missing", Nebytov said.

 

During the martial law, the police regions registered 233 criminal proceedings on encroachments on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, and 1,463 facts are being investigated for violation of the laws and customs of war.

 

Law enforcement officers have registered more than 150 facts of looting and have already reported suspicion to 35 people, registered more than 30 criminal proceedings on collaboration activities, collected materials to assist the aggressor and have already reported suspicion to 5 people.

 

The police continue to carry out a cleansing of the territories occupied by Russian troops, to identify people who collaborated with the invader, to identify victims of Russian aggression, to record the destruction and to examine the bodies of the dead.
