More than 686 children are injured in Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine 

In total, 1,044 children have been injured and killed in Ukraine as a result of the Russian Federation's full-scale war against the country.

Prosecutor General's Office shared the statement.

During the full-scale war, Russian army killed 358 children in Ukraine. As of the morning of July 25, the official number of child victims has not changed. But the number of injured children has increased - there are already more than 686.

​​Juvenile prosecutors stress that these numbers are not final, as work is being conducted to establish the numbers in places of active hostilities and in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

The largest number of children were affected in Donetsk region - 362, Kharkiv region - 194, Kyiv region - 116, Chernihiv region - 68, Luhansk region - 61, Mykolaiv region - 55, Kherson region - 54, Zaporizhia region - 40.

On July 25, an 8-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling by the Russian army of the Mykolaiv district of the Mykolaiv region.

The armed forces of the Russian Federation damaged 2188 educational institutions in Ukraine with bombings and shelling, 221 of which were completely destroyed.
