"Rescue operation, sorting out the rubble, will not end until bodies of all the dead are found. At the moment, 40 people have died. As for the injured, there are several who are in serious condition, including one child," Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.
According to the deputy head of the Ukrainian President's Office, the main task now is to help all those who suffered as a result of this disaster.
"Almost the entire building has been evacuated. Now both city and region have prepared many places for temporary location of all families. There will be decision by city and regional authorities regarding financial assistance to all families of victims, and to all those who lost their homes, and to those whose homes were damaged. We understand that more than 200 apartments have actually been destroyed, and our most important task is to resettle all people and help in the restoration of this building," he said.
Tymoshenko said that after the rubble is cleared, experts will work and make an assessment of the possibility of restoring the building.
"Already today, electricity was restored to the entrances that survived. We thank all rescuers, volunteers and citizens," the deputy head of the Ukrainian President's Office said.
On Saturday, January 14, Russian troops attacked Dnipro city, as a result of which the entrance of a nine-story building was destroyed.
Specialists of Ukrainian private OSINT company Molfar established names of 44 Russians, whose actions, presumably, directly led to the missile attack on a high-rise building in Dnipro city.
As of 21:00 on January 16, 39 people were rescued (including 6 children), 40 people died (including 3 children), 77 people were injured (including 14 children), and 47 reports of missing persons were received.
