More people enter Ukraine than leave in one day: situation on western border
On August 20, a total of 116,000 people and 21,000 vehicles crossed Ukraine's western borders with the EU and Moldova

According to the border guards, 55,000 people departed from Ukraine on the same day. Among them, 34,000 crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border, while the others traveled to Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova. Simultaneously, 61,000 people entered Ukraine during the day, with 54,000 of them being Ukrainians.
Moreover, border guards arrested 21 individuals for attempting to cross the state border unlawfully. Among them, five managed to do so outside the checkpoints. Additionally, five individuals were denied entry when border guards discovered fake documents.
