Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
“For the first time in the history of our country, the right bank will not consume gas supplied by Gazprom. Since last year, we have promised to create reserves and find alternatives to stop being dependent on one source. We have achieved this,” he wrote.
It is noted that Moldovagaz will purchase about 100 million cubic meters from the Energocom state-owned enterprise in December at the previous average price of USD 1,108.61 per 1,000 cubic meters.
“It is important that the tariff will not change after this decision. Citizens will continue to receive support, and we will survive this winter well,” Andrei Spînu emphasized.
