Mobilized Russian soldiers' families complain about poor treatment by Russia in Crimea - General Staff

In temporarily occupied Crimea, the families of mobilized Russian soldiers are complaining about their rights being violated: lack of rotations, poor food, and extortion of bribes

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on Facebook.

It is noted that in temporarily occupied Crimea, relatives of mobilized Russians complain en masse about violations of the Russian military personnel's rights:

“The main reasons are: absence of rotations and vacations for more than 6 months and any prospects for them in the next 2-3 months; poor nutrition and sanitary conditions, which is why relatives are forced to constantly send them food and personal belongings; use of official position by officers of the Russian occupation forces for their own enrichment - privates and sergeants are offered short-term vacations for a bribe of USD 1,000. The Russian Defense Ministry does not respond to citizens' appeals in any way,” the General Staff stated.

In particular, the press service reported logistical problems in the Russian army: modernized S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems are being sent to factories in Russia, due to premature failure of the systems and the inability to quickly deliver combat components and perform routine maintenance of the equipment in combat conditions.

Invading Russian forces launched 4 airstrikes and 15 missile attacks over the day

“During the day, the occupying Russian forces launched 4 airstrikes and 15 missile attacks, most of them on the civilian infrastructure of the Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kherson regions. The enemy also launched over 50 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems,” the military noted.

Thus, it is argued that the Russians continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions. The threat of Russian missile strikes remains high throughout Ukraine.

AFU repelled attacks on 12 settlements and hit 7 Russian military positions

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled the Russian troops' attacks near Hrianykivka and Masiutivka in the Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka, Chervonopopivka and Kreminna in the Luhansk region; and Vyimka, Fedorivka, Dubove-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Chasiv Yar in the  Donetsk region.

“Over the course of the day, the Defense Forces' aviation launched 6 strikes on the Russian troops' military positions, as well as on the position of the anti-aircraft missile system. Air Defense Forces shot down 2 Kalibr cruise missiles over the day, and missile and artillery units hit 1 area of enemy manpower concentration,” the General Staff added.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the Russians continue to hold certain units, but experts have not found any signs of offensive groups forming.

At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire contact line, hitting 23 settlements in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
