Mobilization point will be deployed on Russian border with Georgia, where the armored personnel carrier headed yesterday. Satellite photos of Verkhniy Lars checkpoint
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has said that a mobilization point for their Military Commissariat will soon be deployed at the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint on the border with Georgia.
This is reported by Medusa.
On September 26, the queue to leave Russia stretched for more than 20 km, the waiting time for crossing the border was three to four days. Before, it was allowed to cross this border on bicycles and scooters.
The Maxar company took satellite photos of the situation on the border on September 25. They show a large concentration of vehicles leaving Russia and trying to cross the border into Georgia at the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint. The company adds that the reason for the mass exodus is Russian President Putin's order to mobilize to participate in the war in Ukraine.

Yesterday, September 26, eyewitnesses from the line at this checkpoint wrote that an armored personnel carrier with Russian military personnel was heading to the checkpoint. And Russian customs officials began refusing to leave the country on September 25, citing the law on mobilization. The border department of the FSB stated that the APC is, "roughly speaking, a reserve for any unforeseen case, if the reservists want to break through the checkpoint and leave the country without completing any border formalities."
