Mine explodes near Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant - IAEA chief

The International Atomic Energy Agency's report says this. 

This week, IAEA experts at the Zaporizhzhia NPP were once again forced to take shelter due to air raid alarms, and the sounds of ongoing shelling could be heard nearby. One mine exploded near the plant.

“The increased military presence and activity in the region again underlines the importance and urgency of agreeing on the protection of the plant,” Director General Grossi said.

• On April 27, the UK Defense Ministry reported that by March 2023, Russian troops had created sandbagged fighting positions on the roofs of several of the six ZNPP reactors.

• The acting head of the Nikopol District Council, Dmytro Bychkov, said that Russian forces continue to deploy a large number of armored vehicles and explosive military equipment on the territory of the ZNPP.
