Mine explodes near Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant - IAEA chief
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has said that shelling was heard and a mine exploded near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (NPP)
The International Atomic Energy Agency's report says this.
This week, IAEA experts at the Zaporizhzhia NPP were once again forced to take shelter due to air raid alarms, and the sounds of ongoing shelling could be heard nearby. One mine exploded near the plant.
“The increased military presence and activity in the region again underlines the importance and urgency of agreeing on the protection of the plant,” Director General Grossi said.
