Zaluzhnyi's resignation was impossible to avoid - NGU reserve major Hetman

Oleksiy Hetman, a reserve major of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU) and a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, said that Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi needed to negotiate so that the resignation would not cause internal tension in the country

He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.

"The President and Zaluzhnyi had to agree to make sure that the resignation, which was unavoidable, would not cause internal tension in our country. So that it did not cause resonance among people. This does not mean that everyone is satisfied and will take it easy," Hetman said.

According to the reserve major, there is no need to vent emotions now.

"I urge my fellow comrades who may be dissatisfied with this decision to remain calm and refrain from expressing their concerns on social media. Engaging in such discussions will not contribute positively to our situation. If there is a genuine desire to bring about positive change for the country, let us channel our energy constructively," Hetman emphasized.
