The Ukrainian IT Army has disrupted the operations of Mastertel, the main communications provider for Russian banks

Ukraine's Ministry of Digital Transformation reported it on June 13.
It is noted that the system of the main communications provider of Russian banks, Mastertel, has been experiencing failures for several days.
In particular, Sberbank, Alfa-Bank, and VTB cannot provide Russians with some of their services, as the services of the institutions are not working.
"Thanks to a cyber warfare operation, Russians are currently unable to access currency exchange services and certain banking operations," emphasized the ministry.

On March, Ukrainian intelligence hackers attacked several important servers in Russia, including a government agency, the websites of the Federal Security Service, and state awards.
