Ukrainian drones eliminate 2 Russian tanks and IFV in Donetsk region
The Ukrainian border guards destroyed 2 Russian tanks and an infantry fighting vehicle in Donetsk region using FPV drones
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine posted the video on its Facebook page.
The infantry fighting vehicle was probably used to deliver ammunition. The Russian tank moved from a neighboring position but failed to escape.
The journalist Andriy Tsaplienko also shared the video on his Telegram channel and commented that the State Border Guard Service's aerial reconnaissance proved that the Russians overestimated the level of protection of their equipment, including the modernized "grills." ("grill" — metal construction welded over the tank turret to protect the equipment from anti-tank missiles hitting the roof - ed.)
“In the Donetsk region, FPV drone pilots have successfully "nested" birds on two Russian tanks and one infantry fighting vehicle. At the same time, the repeated detonation of an infantry fighting vehicle, which was probably used to deliver ammunition, caused a bright fire show,” the report added.
