Ukraine approves over 40 new drones for military deployment in July
Ukraine's Defense Ministry, during July 2025, approved over 40 new unmanned aerial systems for use in the military—all of them produced in Ukraine

The press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported the information.
Among the more than 40 new unmanned aerial systems, FPV drones with various characteristics predominate.
“In the first seven months of 2025, the defense department codified 320 unmanned aerial systems, and almost all of them are of Ukrainian production. This is more than during the entire previous year. In 2024, just over 280 Ukrainian aerial drones were codified,” the Defense Ministry added.
In July 2025, Ukraine's Defense Ministry approved about 140 new types of weapons and military equipment for use by the Defense Forces, with only 15% of them being of foreign production.
