The Ukrainian non-governmental OSINT project DeepState, which monitors the situation at the front, claims that the situation is deteriorating east of the town of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region

The project published the information on the evening of Sunday, March 24, 2024, on its official Telegram channel.
"The enemy is taking advantage of the lack of munitions and the superiority in manpower and equipment. The situation is slowly but surely deteriorating," the statement reads.
In particular, according to DeepState, citing today's video from the 67th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, "clashes continue along the railroad track east of Chasiv Yar."
- Chasiv Yar is located west of the Russian-occupied city of Bakhmut and is part of the Bakhmut agglomeration.
- On March 12, activist Vitaliy Zhuchkov reported that the administration of Chasiv Yar had banned journalists and volunteers from entering the town because of the intensified shelling by Russian troops.
