Schemes reported the information.

Maxar has recorded damage to the Engels-2 ammunition depots in the Saratov region of Russia, where craters were left in place of some buildings after the attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Russian strategic aviation planes have frequently taken off from this airfield to launch large-scale missile strikes against Ukraine.

"These warehouses were used to store containers for Kh-101/Kh-555 missiles, which Russia uses to attack Ukraine from Tu-160 and Tu-95 aircraft. There is also a possibility that there was a missile pre-flight training center there, which was also destroyed," explained aviation expert Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi in a comment to Schemes.

  • On the night of Thursday, March 20, units of Ukraine’s Security Service and the Special Operations Forces, in coordination with other branches of the Defense Forces, launched an attack on the Engels airfield in Russia’s Saratov region.
