Russian special services plotting May 9 provocations to blame resistance movements
Russian special services are reportedly planning May 9 provocations against civilians to later blame them on resistance movements
The Atesh partisan movement reported the information.
"Russian special services are planning provocations for May 9 with the aim of blaming resistance movements opposing Putin’s regime," the statement says.
They may carry out terrorist attacks against the civilian population both in Russia and in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.
"This is a classic FSB playbook, which they have used more than once. Their goal is to create propaganda images, intensify repression, and discredit all resistance movements, including Atesh. We officially declare: the Atesh movement acts exclusively against invading troops and military infrastructure. We do not fight against civilians — we act in the interests of ordinary citizens," the partisans emphasized.
- On May 5, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region began to complain about problems with the internet and communications. The media suggest that this may be related to the rehearsal for the May 9 parade.
