Russian marines desperately avoid deployment to Kursk region amid heavy losses
Russian servicemen from the 810th Marine Brigade are actively avoiding deployment to the Kursk region, where invading forces are suffering massive losses
The Atesh partisan movement reported the information.
“Rumors that the chances of returning alive from there are almost nonexistent are only fueling panic among the troops,” Atesh stated.
According to the partisans, some of these soldiers have already joined Atesh and are passing along valuable intelligence, including information about their commanders, who are viewed extremely negatively by the troops. Soldiers report that their leadership disregards their subordinates’ well-being, forces them into assaults, and spreads fear of sabotage within their own ranks.
“We won’t reveal the details, but a significant number of 810th Marine Brigade fighters are already preparing ‘surprises’ for their commanders, which they intend to deliver soon. We are waiting for updates from our allies and strongly advise others to stay as far away from their commanders as possible—soon, they’ll have much bigger problems to deal with,” the partisan movement added.
- According to Ukraine's General Staff, in six months of active combat in the Kursk region, Russian forces have suffered approximately 39,900 casualties, including around 16,100 killed.
